Code of Conduct for Noon
Noon aims to report accurately, fairly and independently. This code sets out the standards our newsroom holds itself to and what readers can expect from us.
Accuracy
We check facts before we publish and name our sources wherever we responsibly can. When we get something wrong we correct it promptly and say plainly what changed.
Fairness
People and organisations criticised in our reporting are given a fair opportunity to respond, and their response is carried in the same story wherever possible.
Independence
Our editorial decisions are ours alone. Advertising and sponsorship never influence what we cover, and sponsored material is always labelled as such.
Reader contributions
Comments are welcome and moderated. We remove material that is abusive, defamatory, or incites hatred or violence.
